Peter S. Myers, a partner in Fox Rothschild’s San Francisco office, is certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California's Board of Legal Specialization. He frequently writes and teaches in the areas of estate planning and family business entities, and has authored and published treatises, books and articles, regularly speaking throughout the country on topics of interest to wealthy families and their advisers, as well as at conventions of professionals. From 1987 to 1992, Peter practiced antitrust and securities law with a national firm before starting his own firm, Myers Urbatsch, P.C. (later Myers Kenney, P.C.).

Peter is the executive editor of Business Succession Planning: Strategies for California Estate Planners and Business Attorneys, published by Continuing Education of the Bar-California. He regularly teaches for the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), the Southern California Institute and various local and national professional groups.


Sean R. Kenney is a partner in Fox Rothschild’s San Francisco office, concentrating his practice in the areas of trusts and estates, business succession and taxation. A frequent speaker on tax law and business succession issues, Sean is also a contributor to treatises and publications in the areas of tax, business and estate planning.

Prior to joining Fox, Sean was a shareholder at Myers Kenney, P.C. He coauthored a chapter regarding limited partnerships and limited liability companies in the treatise, Business Succession Planning: Strategies for California Estate Planners and Business Attorneys, in addition to coauthoring a chapter in the California Decedent Estate Practice treatise on post-mortem planning and administration with estates holding business interests, both published by Continuing Education of the Bar-California.




Kenneth J. Abdo, a partner in Fox Rothschild’s Minneapolis office, has served as legal counsel to artists, creators and businesses in music, film, TV, theater, media and publishing for more than 30 years. His clients include prominent individuals, collaborators and businesses in the creative and commercial arts, including multiple Grammy® award recipients, gold and platinum recording artists, Emmy® and other award winners. Harnessing his years of experience as a musician and entertainer, Ken has extensive experience working with developing, established and legacy artists, as well as their estates. Prior to joining Fox, Ken was the founder and chair of the Entertainment Law Department of the Minneapolis-based Lommen Abdo law firm.


Lincoln Bandlow is a partner in Fox Rothschild’s Los Angeles office, where he focuses his practice on sophisticated media, First Amendment, intellectual property and other entertainment-related litigation matters. He represents clients in the motion picture, television, publishing, broadcasting, internet and advertising fields, as well as some of the principal underwriters for the media and entertainment industry.

A frequent speaker and lecturer on media and intellectual property issues, Lincoln has served as a visiting professor at the Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California since the spring of 1995, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in media and entertainment law. Additionally, he recently co-authored a chapter on U.S. law for the "International Libel and Privacy Handbook."

David K. Cahoone is principal in the law firm of David K. Previously, he was a partner in the law firm of Esperti Peterson & Cahoone, PA and a member of Esperti Peterson & Cahoone Consulting, Inc., an estate planning consulting firm. For 10 years, David was a developer and faculty member of the Chartered Wealth Advisor (CWA) Program, offered through Hilliard Lyons, and the Accredited Wealth Manager Program (AWM), offered through RBC Wealth Management. Mark Castell is a tax adviser in the Cleveland office of HPM Partners LLP. He has more than 30 years of experience advising corporate executives, international professional tennis players and golfers, major league baseball and football players, entertainers and a prominent high-net-worth family.

Prior to joining HPM Partners, Mark was the managing director of tax for MAI Wealth Advisors, LLC, formerly an affiliate of IMG in Cleveland. He was a member of the firm’s senior management team and responsible for the delivery of all facets of the firm’s comprehensive tax advisory services.  Earlier in his career, Mark was a tax accountant at Coopers & Lybrand and a staff accountant with James Hirschauer & Co. Mark earned a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Lake Erie College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


Gregory E. Crawford is the President of Alliance Trust Company of Nevada, where he develops strategy, drives growth and oversees operations. For two decades, Greg has designed and implemented asset management and asset protection plans for multigenerational families in the United States and abroad and some of the largest institutions in the world. This work involves comprehensive financial planning, portfolio design, business entity structure strategy and sophisticated estate planning techniques.

Greg is a frequent speaker on the benefits and advantages of Nevada trust situs at law school conferences around the country. He is certified in financial planning by Boston University and is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and a Certified Financial Planner. Greg has regularly been quoted in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Financial Times of London, and has appeared as an on-air expert on CNBC, Bloomberg and ABC World News Tonight.


Andrew J. Grey is the managing partner of SRG LLP. He began his public accounting career at Ernst & Whinney in 1978 before joining SRG, formerly Solomon Ross Grey & Company, in 1987. Drew has developed an extensive audit and tax practice, specializing in tax minimization, financial statement optimization and sophisticated estate planning. He draws on his extensive business and professional background to provide strategic business consulting concerning all aspects of corporate finance and operations. Drew serves as a trustee for several high net worth families with assets in excess of $2 billion. Drew’s professional affiliations include the AICPA, California Society of CPAs and the American Bar Association. Mark H. Prior to joining Heritage, Carolyn was director and auctioneer at Bonhams (Butterfields), where she oversaw the estate department for more than 10 years, establishing a proven record in working with large consignments and institutions as an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA). Most recently, she has brought to auction the celebrity estates of Shirley Temple Black and Zsa Zsa Gabor with outstanding results. As an auctioneer, she has raised millions of dollars and provided auction services to numerous charities.

Carol P. Schaner is a partner in the Orange County office of Gordon & Rees Scully Mansukhani. She is Certified Public Accountant and has been designated a Certified Tax Specialist by the California Board of Legal Specialization. Her practice focuses on taxation (planning and controversy), business planning, charitable giving, representation of nonprofit tax-exempt organizations and estate planning, topics on which she frequently writes and speaks. Carol serves as a member of the California Board of Legal Specialization and chair of its Taxation’s Law Advisory Commission, and has served as an adjunct faculty member at Chapman University Dale E. Sarah J. Wentz is a partner in Fox Rothschild’s Minneapolis office.
